BRONX, NEW YORK, October 2- Video of a gunman shooting up a Fordham bodega was released by police in the hopes of catching the shooter.
The video shows the hooded gunman opening fire on the street and into the bodega at 2654 Valentine Avenue. One 20-year-old man was struck in the hip and transported to an area hospital.
Cops say the shooting stemmed from an earlier argument inside the bodega on September 30. The shooter had gotten into verbal and physical altercation with employees at the store. The man returned a short time later with a handgun and began firing. The video shows people scattering on the sidewalk as the gunman opened fire.
The shooter is described as a 20-year-old black male. He is 5 foot 9 and 165 pounds. Anyone with information is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at (800) 577-TIPS.
