Council Member James Vacca honored Ostacio “Lefty” Negron of the Morris Park Community Association in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Negron, who has been a volunteer in the Morris Park and Van Nest communities for over 30 years, has served as Coordinator of the Morris Park Community Association Neighborhood Patrol since 2010, and has become the Association’s chief liaison to the 49th Precinct and 49th Precinct Community Council.
