BRONX, NEW YORK, February 11- He made his mark at Monroe as a prolific scorer, a great teammate, and above all, a winner, and now Karamba Janneh of the Bronx, is a professional soccer player.

Janneh has just signed a contract to play pro ball for VSI Tampa Bay in the USL PRO.

"This is what it's all about," said Coach Marcus Dibernardo.  "Karamba found a home at Monroe and became a wonderful player for us. He starred in the national tournament, completed his studies, and now he is making a living as a professional soccer player. The lesson is clear: become a Mustang, work hard and then the sky is your limit."

Janneh had 11 goals and five assists in 13 games with the 2011 Monroe team that won Region and District championships and played into the national finals.
